The Pasadena Center Operating Co. Board of Directors has placed Chief Executive Officer Michael Ross on paid administrative leave pending the outcome of a personnel inquiry, the agency announced in a statement on Thursday.
No details about the investigation were released.
The PCOC is city-owned nonprofit that manages the Pasadena Civic Auditorium and Pasadena Conference Center as well as the city’s ice skating rink and the Pasadena Convention & Visitors Bureau.
Ross joined the PCOC in 2006 and oversaw the completion of a $150-million renovation and expansion of the Pasadena Conference Center, according to the agency’s website. Before joining the PCOC, Ross oversaw a public-private partnership operating convention and performing arts facilities in San Jose.
