Over 500 residents showed up to a meeting last night at the Pasadena Convention Center to oppose plans that would connect the Long Beach (710) Freeway to other highway routes.
Three of the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Agency's proposals were rejected by the Pasadena City Council.
Residents were active on social media sites since last week, promoting the meeting and encouraging a large turnout. See some of their comments below.
