The Macy’s store in Paseo Colorado is closing, the retailer announced Thursday.
Macy’s has two stores in Pasadena, one in Paseo and one three-quarters of a mile away on Lake Avenue. The 158,000-square-foot Paseo Colorado store is one of six the chain is closing around the country. It employees 116 people.
In a statement, the company said it will offer jobs to displaced workers where possible and is otherwise offering severance pay.
