St. Monica Academy 56, Southwestern Academy 47: The visiting Crusaders picked up an International League win Thursday. The Crusaders are 6-7, 4-2 in league.
GIRLS’ WATER POLO
La Salle 15, Westridge 6: Goalkeeper Marisol Dakan finished with 26 saves in three quarters to lead the visiting Lancers in a Prep League match at Blair High on Thursday.
Kikki Shuster collected six goals for La Salle (10-5, 4-1 in league).
South Pasadena 16, Monrovia 3: The visiting Tigers (9-5) began Rio Hondo League action Thursday with a victory.
WOMEN’S BASKETBALL
Occidental College 78, Caltech 37: Grace Leishman led the Beavers with seven points off the bench as Caltech fell in a SCIAC road game Thursday evening.
Sarah Wright and Esther Du both added six points for Caltech (1-13, 0-5).
