Armenian General Benevolent Union 90, New Jewish Community 82: Andrew Tahmazian finished with a career-high 46 points Thursday to lead the host Spartans to a Westside League win.
Tahmazian, who helped AGBU improve to 2-1 in league, had 10 three-pointers with seven coming in the first half.
“He’s always been a good three-point shooter,” Spartans Coach Richard Harris said. “He’s got that killer instinct and it all came together for him tonight.”
Andy Ketsoyan contributed 26 points for the Spartans, who got eight rebounds from George Gevrikyan.
