Photo Gallery: Pasadena Senior Center Holiday Food distribution
Hundreds of seniors lined up in Old Pasadena to pick up packages of food in a reflection of continuing struggles for many elderly people in the area. Volunteers at the Pasadena Senior Center saw demand for the monthly giveaway soar during the Great Recession, and have yet to see it abate.

A bag of food, that includes staples like peanut butter, rice, cheese and cereal, also had a fresh chicken that was provided by San Marino, and a fresh vegetable.
