Pasadena residents who’ve been stuck waiting for what feels like forever after missing a Gold Line train are getting good news as service is being ramped up on weekends, according to the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority.

Starting Jan. 27, the Metro Gold Line schedule will double on weekends, with trains arriving every six minutes from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, according to the agency's blog,
