Dr. Richard P. O'Toole, chairman of Government Relations at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, was the featured speaker when the Kiwanis Club of La Cañada held a recent luncheon meeting at Van de Kamp Hall in Descanso Gardens.
O’Toole, a resident of this city who was invited to speak about the lab’s space exploration programs, was presented by Dr. Fred Schooley, the retired JPL program manager of Biotechnics who is vice president of the local service club.
The guest speaker is a member of JPL's Executive Council and has been instrumental in JPL’s long-range planning.
