NASA's Wide-field Infrared Survey Explorer (WISE) captured this image of one of our neighbors, the Messier 33 galaxy.

Nicknamed the Triangulum galaxy, it is the third largest member in the Local Group, a community of 30 galaxies. It's only three million light-years away — which is considered close to astronomers — and tilted toward Earth.
